Hello All,

It is with sadness and after great deliberation that I regret to inform you, my faithful social thinkers, that I am resigning my role as the leader of this group.

Inside of one year this group has jumped from 4 members (myself and 3 friends who probably only joined because they felt bad for me) to just over two thousand. That may be nothing in comparison to some of the other Facebook groups that seemingly start with 100,000 members, but at the same time, we have substance.

For a long time this group meant a lot to me, Adbusters meant a lot to me, and fighting their cause was a huge part of my life. As my worldview broadens I see that Adbusters no longer deserves to be a part of it.

Unfortunately, a once small, dedicated group of individuals who only wished for their social and economic anti-establishment voices to be heard has transformed into nothing more than a fad. Adbusters has become just another icon, standing for little more than a profit whereas the ends dictate the means – a non-substance collection of iconoclastic like-minded thinkers who are fighting for nothing more than to be heard. They have even went to such ends as justifying terrorism just so that they could sell more magazine copies.

As I am not an Adbusters supporter, I hand the group over to whomever feels they are both capable of maintaining the group, as well as a strong believer in the Adbusters cause.

I leave you all to fight my own cause, but not without one last present for all of you. I am permanently banning and then reporting Nathan Human. I will take him off of your hands so that the next Admin may continue healthy debate, rather than his own special brand of elitist hatespeech.

Take care and I wish you all the best of luck with each and all of your endeavours!

Sincerely,
Chris Martin
